Tank Chhap was started by Shri Mangilal Ji Kesrimal Ji Lodha as part of a small umbrella workshop in Ratlam in 1949. Over three generations, the brand has grown into one of central India's most trusted names for umbrellas and raincoat cloth, and is today owned and run by Pinkesh Lodha — the founder's grandson — out of Indore and Mumbai.
Every Tank Chhap product is manufactured in-house at Preeti Umbrella Factory, the family-owned facility that supplies the full Tank Chhap rainwear range.
